More Homes, Better Prices:
A Buyer's Summer
If you shopped for a home in the Treasure Valley anytime in the past few years, you remember how it felt. Multiple offers, short timelinnes, and asking prices that climbed faster than paychecks. This summer looks different. Inventory is up, asking prices are coming down, and homes are sitting long enough for buyers to think before they write an offer. That combination hasn't shown up in this market in years. We broke down exactly what changed and what it means for your search in this month's article.

A Look Into Eagle, Idaho
Eagle sits along the Boise River about 20 minutes from downtown Boise, and that geography explains a lot of why people stay. You get river access, foothill trails, and open space, with city jobs and restaurants close enough for a weeknight. The pace here is slower on purpose. Locals measure their evenings in Greenbelt miles, not commute minutes.
The calendar does a lot of work in Eagle. Saturday Market runs all summer at Heritage Park, Eagle Fun Days packs downtown every June, and winter brings the Country Christmas lighting on the square. Show up to a few of these and you stop being new fast. That's the thing people mention most after moving here: how quickly the town starts to feel like theirs.
The outdoor list is long. Kayak the river, ride the trails at Eagle Bike Park, hike the foothils from Avimor, or play a round at one of three golf courses in town. Eagle has protected its green space as it has grown, which is why a town of about 33,000 still feels like it has room.
