Getting Your Home Ready
For Fall
As the crisp autumn air begins to settle in, it's the perfect time to prepare your home for the upcoming season. Here are some essential tips to ensure your home is cozy, safe, and well-maintained:
- Schedule Your HVAC Service: Make sure your heating system is running efficiently by scheduling a professional tune-up.
- Drain and Refill Your Water Heater: Flushing your water heater removes sediment buildup, ensuring it works effectively throughout the colder months.
- Clean Out Your Gutters: Once the leaves have fallen, schedule a gutter clean-out to prevent clogs and potential water damage.
- Check Weather Stripping: Inspect and replace weather stripping around garage doors to keep the cold out and the warmth in.
- Service Your Fireplace: If you have a fireplace, schedule a professional inspection and cleaning to ensure it's safe and ready for use.
- Inspect Your Roof: Check for any signs of damage and schedule repairs before the weather changes.
- Test Smoke Detectors: Ensure all smoke detectors have fresh batteries and are functioning correctly to keep your home safe.
Taking these steps now will help you avoid unexpected issues and keep your home comfortable and secure throughout the fall and winter seasons.

Welcome to the Team!
We're glad to welcome Pammy Malmberg to Abmont Realty Group.
Pammy has lived in the Treasure Valley for 32 years and spent more than 35 of them working in accounting, finance, operations, and industrial safety. She spent 14 years at CK3, LLC alongside engineering and surveying professionals, and she has worked in banking, lending, and mortgages, which gave her a close look at title and the closing process. That background means she understands the financial and logistical side of a transaction before it turns into a surprise for her clients.
Outside of work she is a proud mom of two who enjoys game nights, camping, fishing, softball, and volleyball, and she has spent years volunteering around the valley with Rotary, Ducks Unlimited, and youth cheerleading at the Idaho Center.
For Pammy, real estate comes down to people. Whether you are buying your first home, selling, or planning your next move, she brings attention to detail, honest communication, and steady advocacy from start to finish.
