Caldwell
Just a 30-minute drive from downtown Boise and nestled between Middleton and Nampa is the up-and-coming city of Caldwell. Caldwell is a small city in Canyon County, with just over 60,000 people. It’s part of the Boise metropolitan area, which includes Nampa and Meridian. Today it is home to several museums and historical sites that pay homage to those early days.
With a vibrant downtown with year-round events and activities, farm-to-fork restaurants that serve wine from the Sunnyslope Wine Trail, and unique local merchants, Caldwell is a destination in itself. The surrounding countryside is filled with scenic vistas, working farms and ranches, and activities the entire family will love. The downtown area has recently been renovated to add beautiful brick sidewalks and new street lamps. You’ll find many unique shops like clothing stores, art galleries, and antique stores. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars if you want to stop for lunch or dinner during your visit!
Also nearby are mountains where you can go hiking or skiing during the winter months (if you’re into that sort of thing). And if you need more entertainment options than what Caldwell has to offer, Boise is just 20 minutes away by car—so there’s no shortage of things to do for those who love exploring new places! Real estate prices in Caldwell are lower overall than in neighboring Ada County. Let us introduce you to this lovely community!
