Coeur d’Alene (pronounced kor-duh-Layne) is a beautiful city sitting in northwest Idaho, surrounded by dozens of lakes. It is the largest city in Northern Idaho and is the 7th largest city in Idaho, with a population of around 56,000 residents. Although there are more than 55 lakes within driving distance, the most scenic and lively one would be Lake Coeur d’Alene sitting in the heart of the city. This lake has around 135 miles of shoreline with many different trails, campsites, and beachfront spots. There are gorgeous sunsets, an active yet inviting downtown, and four incredible seasons. Coeur d’Alene is the perfect city for someone who loves fishing, biking, golfing, beautiful scenery, and a wonderful community. An idyllic place to live, there are excellent schools, a thriving downtown area, and plenty of gorgeous parks.
