Kuna
Kuna is a more rural city in Ada county, near Meridian. The subdivisions are beautifully maintained, and the community is close-knit and friendly. Kuna’s motto perfectly describes the city as a place “where growth happens, but simple still exists.” It is located centrally in the Treasure Valley, around 20 minutes from any city, and is still one of the most affordable cities in the Treasure Valley. It has large Agricultural fields and many houses on large plots of land. This gorgeous city allows you to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy metropolitan area and has almost no traffic or crowd noises. It is perfect for families with great schools and is an incredibly safe community. The city attracts visitors with its yearly Kuna Days festival, a fun, family-friendly festival with vendors and food, and many other attractions. The city itself is small, and the best way to describe it is quaint. There are new developments on the outskirts of town with stores, shopping, local ice cream shops, dining, and more. The greenbelt and river in the town square are perfect for walking in the early evening and watching the sunset. You will see children riding bikes, dairy cows, gorgeous homes on farmlands, as well as unique suburban neighborhoods. Anyone who lives in Kuna feels like they’ve stumbled upon a hidden gem.
