Twin Falls
Sitting on the south rim of the Snake River Canyon, an easy 2-hour drive from Boise and 1 hour from legendary Sun Valley, Twin Falls embodies the unique Idaho lifestyle. This mid to small-sized city of just over 50,000 is getting noticed as an attractive place with plenty of lifestyle amenities and opportunities. From new construction to rural living on the outskirts of town, homes here are relatively affordable as Twin Falls is still considered “undiscovered,” but remember that the population here has grown by over 42% since 2000. One visit and you’ll know why! There are parks, museums, shopping centers, events, and festivals to keep you entertained year-round! As in most places in Idaho, there are four beautiful seasons, but the weather in Twin Falls is milder, with winter averaging 35 and summer averaging 88. The star of the city is Shoshone Falls, a gorgeous waterfall located at the city’s edge. At 212 feet, the falls are higher than Niagara and are a sight to behold in spring and early summer, when the water flow is at its peak.
